How do I reassign my feeders in an existing file?

Reassigning feeders within the Feeder Information tab can help ensure that each unique component is correctly paired with the appropriate feeder and nozzle for accurate placement.  Navigate to Tab 4: Feeder Information and follow these steps:

1. Select the highlighted feeder number you want to move.
2. Click the drop-down menu labeled Exchange within the Basic Settings box and choose the target feeder number. The selected feeder will swap locations with the feeder previously assigned to that number.
3. Repeat this process for all feeders that need rearrangement. When finished, click the Save button.

Important Notes:

• Do not click Component Assign to Feeder after completing these steps. This will reset all feeder locations and undo your changes.
• If your nozzles are organized by size (e.g., small nozzles on one side and large nozzles on the other), ensure your feeder arrangement matches this layout for efficient operation.
• The machine differentiates components using the Footprint/Comment information from your component list, located in the Coordinate Information tab.
