The profiling probe. Every oven ships with temperature probe hardware for measuring your board's thermal profile, located with the accessory kit that comes with the oven. On the IN6 and IN6C, the probe plugs into the TEMP SENSOR socket below the LCD display, a little to the left. The IN8C and IN12C ship with four probes and have four color-coded sensor connectors on the front left of the machine, so you can log four points on the board at once. Kapton tape is a great way to attach a probe tip to the board, ideally between a pad and the corresponding component pin.
